Welcome to Giorgi Safaris. These Terms and Conditions are designed to be clear, fair, and easy to understand. By confirming a booking with us, you agree to the terms outlined below.

 

1. Bookings & Confirmation

All safari bookings are subject to availability at the time of confirmation. A booking is considered confirmed once we receive the required deposit and issue a written confirmation.

 

2. Payments

  • A deposit of 30% of the total safari cost is required to confirm a booking.
  • In some cases, including high season, luxury lodges, charter flights, or short-notice bookings, a deposit of up to 50% may be required.
  • The balance payment is due 14–30 days before the safari start date, depending on the booking details.
  • Failure to make payments on time may result in cancellation of the booking.
  • High season bookings made for travel during peak seasons, including July to October and the December holiday period, may be subject to stricter payment and cancellation terms. In some cases, higher deposits or full prepayment may be required, and cancellation charges may be higher due to supplier policies. Any such terms will always be clearly communicated at the time of booking.

 

3. Prices & Inclusions

Safari prices are quoted based on current park fees, accommodation rates, fuel costs, and exchange rates. Prices generally include only the services clearly listed in your itinerary.
Items not listed as included (such as international flights, visas, travel insurance, personal expenses, or tips) are excluded unless stated otherwise.

 

4. Changes to Itineraries

We do our best to follow the agreed itinerary. However, changes may be necessary due to weather, road conditions, park regulations, or other factors beyond our control. Any changes will be made with your safety and overall experience in mind.

 

5. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for ensuring they have valid passports, visas, travel insurance, and any required vaccinations. Giorgi Safaris is not responsible for delays or losses arising from incomplete travel documents.
Clients are also expected to follow park rules, respect wildlife, and comply with guide instructions at all times.

 

6. Health & Safety

Safaris involve travel to remote areas and interaction with wildlife. While we take reasonable precautions, participation is at your own risk. We strongly recommend comprehensive travel and medical insurance.

 

7. Force Majeure

Giorgi Safaris shall not be held liable for events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, political unrest, strikes, epidemics, road closures, or park closures. In such cases, we will make reasonable efforts to offer alternative arrangements where possible.

 

8. Liability

Giorgi Safaris acts as an intermediary between clients and service providers such as lodges, transport providers, and park authorities. We cannot be held responsible for the acts or omissions of third-party suppliers.

 

9. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya.
