We understand that travel plans can change. The following cancellation policy applies to all bookings and reflects the commitments we make to our suppliers.
1. Client-Initiated Cancellations
Cancellation charges are calculated based on the date we receive written notification:
- More than 30 days before travel, the deposit may be retained to cover administrative and supplier costs.
- Between 15 and 30 days before travel, 50% of the total safari cost will be charged.
- Between 7 and 14 days before travel, 75% of the total safari cost will be charged.
- Less than 7 days before travel, or in the event of a no-show, 100% of the total safari cost will be charged.
- Some lodges, camps, flights, or park fees may be strictly non-refundable, and their specific cancellation terms will apply.
2. Company-Initiated Cancellations
In the unlikely event that Giorgi Safaris must cancel a safari due to circumstances within our control, clients will be offered a full refund or the option to reschedule.
3. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed within 14–30 working days, depending on banking and supplier timelines.
4. Travel Insurance
We strongly advise all clients to purchase comprehensive travel insurance to cover cancellations, medical emergencies, and unforeseen events.
